Analysis of Hispanic Comorbid Factors Related to Alzheimer's Disease Diagnostic Assessment

Abstract Details

2023, Psy. D., Antioch University, Antioch Santa Barbara: Clinical Psychology.
Hispanic participation in Alzheimer’s disease (AD) research studies has been historically low. With low engagement, there are many nuances which are not understood related to AD care in the Hispanic Community. The primary purpose of this study is to analyze a Hispanic data set of risk factors of Alzheimer's Disease. Three predictors have been identified to be highly correlated with the onset of Alzheimer's disease in other populations and will be analyzed to indicate how predictive they are in a diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease in a Hispanic population.
